Many older buildings represent an integral part of our heritage, and Merisons recognise the importance of preserving them – while acknowledging the complexities and high costs that working on old and listed buildings can bring.

We have completed a number of works on listed buildings, liaising with the conservation officer as needed. We bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your project.

Rejuvenation projects

While often not involving listed buildings, a number of towns have historic areas and building controls in place that specify the design and materials that may be used in renovation works. Merisons have recently completed similar improvement projects and are happy to provide advise on how best to proceed with your project.
